2017 CLUB MEMBERSHIP IS NOW OPEN

2017 Membership expires on 31 Dec. 2017

Lucan BMX Club members are entitled to use the track during all official opening times. Lucan BMX Club will continue to offer open sessions for non members in 2017 but they will be limited to weekends and must pay the day fee which is currently €5.00 

Riders must have the appropriate and valid Cycling Ireland Licence. Without a licence you are not insured and therefore cannot ride the track. It is the riders / parents responsibility to have the appropriate Cycling Ireland licence. Details on Cycling Ireland Licences can be found HERE. Apply for a Cycling Ireland licence HERE. 2017 Lucan BMX Membership Fees are as follows;

€70.00 - First Family Member

€60.00 - Second Family Member

€160.00 - Family Membership Plan (Mother/father/brother/sister – 4 members max), Please see us at the track to avail of this option or email for more information.

 

Membership is at the discretion of Lucan BMX Club and may be refused, in the unlikely event that this happens your membership fee will be refunded.

Members who do not abide by Lucan BMX Club Rules, the National BMX Race Rules and the Cycling Ireland ‘Code of Conduct’ may be expelled from the Club, please see information HERE

  • Please detail any underlying, recurring or present ailment or medical condition, however minor it may appear. Typical examples would include but are not limited to: epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, heart or respiratory conditions, recent injuries, allergies, etc.

    Medical condition(s) and recommended treatment/actions to be taken if symptoms appear: If you have any concerns about participating in any form of physical activity then please consult your GP before taking part in cycling activities or sessions.
  • Membership fees

    1.
    I hereby WAIVE, RELEASE AND INDEMNIFY the Lucan BMX club and its committee, volunteers, sponsors and members, Fingal County Council, from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities howsoever arising in contract law, tort or otherwise in the event of any injury, damage or property loss, partial or permanent disability, medical/hospital bills or death, resulting from activities at the BMX track, suffered by me or persons under eighteen years of age, for whom I am legally responsible.

    I UNDERSTAND this is a legal document, and that I have been offered the opportunity to take same to legal advisor, and this has been explained to me, and I hereby waive my right to do so now.

    3.
    I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that participating in cycling activities has its risks. I have considered the nature of such activities and have considered/discussed them with those for whom I am responsible, I assume these risks with the full understanding that serious injury could result from my participation in any event at the track. I intend this release to discharge Lucan BMX club and its associations from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my participation.

    4.
    I AGREE to wear a bicycle helmet properly adjusted and fastened and which meets European safety standards.

    5.
    I GRANT permission for the use of my name and /or likeness relating to my participation at the track, and I WAIVE all rights to any future compensation to which I may otherwise be entitled as a result of the use of my name or likeness.

    6.
    I UNDERSTAND that in the event of any injury or illness all reasonable steps will be taken to deal with that injury/illness appropriately and parent/guardian will be contacted where required.

    7.
    I AGREE to abide by the Lucan BMX Club Facility rules, the Cycling Ireland Rules, the Cycling Ireland BMX Rules and the Cycling Ireland Code of Conduct.
